Depending on how you have set up your form, submissions can be viewed from Email, Export Data or the Results button.
If you have enabled Send to an email account in Form Settings, you can view individual submissions which are delivered in an email. If you would like to set this up, see the Form Settings article.
Datasets
You can organise your data into datasets tailored to specific timeframes. For instance, if you have a form that is utilised annually, say between January and March, you can create a dataset dedicated to this timeframe.
Prior to making the form available for submission each year, you would create a new dataset for that corresponding date range.
This way whenever parents fill out and submit the form during this period, their data is incorporated into this specific dataset, which can then be easily exported for analysis or storage.
This approach streamlines data management and reduces exported file sizes by including only necessary information.
Creating a Dataset
To create a dataset please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to your form and you will see a Dataset button under the EDIT menu:
Please note: The Dataset button will only appear once you have had at least one form submission. It is recommended that you first create a new form that you send a test submission.
- Click on the Dataset button and then select Add dataset:
- Add a title for your dataset with something that makes it clear what form this relates to and the data range that you are going to be using like in this example:
- You will then get a green notification stating that this dataset has been saved like so:
After setting up this dataset, any new submissions will be added to it.
If you create a new dataset later, the new submissions will be added to that one instead.
In essence, each time you create a new dataset, any new submissions will go into the new one that you have created.
These datasets will be listed when you go to export your data, as demonstrated in the link below.
Export Data
From the Website tab, select Export Data to output form results into a .CSV file.

Results Button
To view individual form submissions:
- Navigate to your form and click the Results button from the Edit tab.
Please note: The results button will only appear once you have had at least one form submission. It is recommended that you first create a new form that you send a test submission.
- The page will refresh and a list of form submissions will appear, along with the submission ID, submission date/time and the ability to View or Delete a single entry.
- Clicking the View link will refresh the page and display the form questions along with answers for that particular submission.
- Clicking the Delete link will permanently remove the submission, you are not prompted to confirm the deletion.
- For surveys and polls, you will also see a graphical output.
