Deleting an Item of Content

  1. Navigate to the page or item to remove from your website.
    • If there are items below the one you would like to delete, you must delete, or move, those first, otherwise, you will see The item you're trying to delete has sub items beneath... error message.
    • Sometimes you can't see the items in the live navigation, for example, if they have previously been archived. In this instance, ask your school's website administrator to view, and delete them from the sitemap view.
  2. Select Delete from the Edit tab.  
  3. Depending on your account permissions, you may see Delete Now and/or Send for Deletion:
    • Select Delete Now to remove the item from your website immediately.
    • Select Send for Deletion to send a deletion request to a user with the relevant permissions.
