As the end of the academic year approaches, there are things you can get underway for the new school year. If there are things we need to do for you, these should be requested before the end of term to ensure prompt turnaround times.
As we all know, September is the busiest time of year for our sector and as a result, we receive a higher volume of queries throughout September. This means it will take longer than usual to process any requests. This checklist will help our customers to be as prepared for the new academic year, as possible

Do you require a PDF to be converted into a page turner?
Page turners are excellent additions to websites, making PDF documents interactive directly on the page. You can submit a request for a page turner by sending an email to support email address mentioned above.
The price for converting a PDF into a page turner is £26 + VAT.
Please include the following within the email:
- Attach the PDF document to the email - Please ensure the attached PDF document is the final version and has been thoroughly reviewed before sending. Any modifications made after conversion may incur additional charges due to the need for re-conversion.
- Confirm cost - Clearly state in the email that you accept the cost of £26 + VAT. Without this we will not be able to proceed with the conversion.
- Location on website - If you would like us to replace an existing page turner or embed the new page turner into a specific location on your website, clearly state the steps to navigate from the homepage to the desired page, and provide the link to the page.
Is your homepage up to date?
Tasks such as homepage changes can take longer in September due to the increased demand. With that in mind, before the end of the year, check what changes you need to make to your site ready for the new school year.
The first thing to check would be to see if you can make these changes yourself by following the steps in this article:
If there are elements on your website that you are unable to edit and you cannot find an option under WEBSITE > Custom Data then you can then email support.jw@junipereducation.org to request these changes or schedule them for a specific date before or over the summer break.
The things you may need to check:
- Are all your quick links correct, working and still relevant?
- Are all your navigation headings still relevant?
- Is your awards bar up to date?
- Does everything else work as expected?
- Is your Ofsted Logo Up to date?
Do you need to update your slideshows?
As we prepare for September, we want to ensure that your experience with updates to your slideshows remains as smooth as possible. While you're always welcome to reach out to us for assistance, we recommend addressing any changes or updates to your slideshows before September, if possible.

Chargeable design or homepage changes?
You may wish to make other changes to your site that may be chargeable or to refresh your site.

Please note we cannot amend the template of your design but make slight changes like the colours, changes to navigation or adding additional elements. These will be subject to a fee.
If you wish to change the design of your website, you may benefit from a conversation with your Customer Success Manager regarding a redesign. To get some time booked to discuss a full website redesign and upgrade, please email websitecsm@junipereducation.org.
Bulk Deletion and Archiving
Currently, we do not offer a service for bulk deleting or archiving items such as pages, articles, albums etc. However, this functionality may be considered for a future update. In the meantime, you can manually delete or archive items by following the steps outlined in the articles below:
Calendar Imports
If you have events that need to be added prior to September then we recommend adding them in advance.
You can add events manually or by purchasing our calendar sync option so any events that you add into your external calendars such as Outlook or Google will automatically sync across to your website calendar.

Tasks and changes you can do!
Many tasks can be managed by the school, by users with the right permissions.
There is a help area that guides these tasks and also guidance on how to use the website and any features you may have.
