Sometimes you need to revoke access to Facebook, so that it is no longer connected to your websites homepage feed.
Disassociating Facebook
Please note: Before you disassociate your Facebook account you need to make sure that you have the credentials to be able to log into the Facebook account that you are wanting to link to your website.
- You can disassociate your Facebook account by scrolling down to your news feed on the homepage of your website.
- There will be a Facebook button next to where your Facebook feed is that will allow you to connect your website with your Facebook account and may look like one of the following types of buttons:
- Click on the button that is visible on your website.
Please note: The button style may vary to the above depending on the template that your website uses.
- Once you click on this a dialogue box will appear where you will have the option to click on the grey button which reads 'Disassociate with Facebook':
- When your website has been disassociated to access Facebook, a blue button will appear on the Facebook Link dialogue box to inform you the website is has been disassociate:
You can authorise access at any time by pressing the Authorise access to Facebook button.
