Depending on the design of your website, you may have the option to change the layout of the page. There are a number of ways that you may find this has been implemented on your site, and some of the most common ways are outlined below.
Layout Options
If this option has been enabled on your site, you will find a button on the Page Editing Toolbar which will allow you to select the layout of your page and the Grid Navigation options.
- Click the Layout Option Button at the far end of the toolbar (you may need to use the arrow to scroll across).
- In the Layout Options Dialog, you will be offered a number of options to choose from, which will affect how the content and navigation appears for the current page.

Default
This is the default page layout. You will have a content area and the navigation links will appear to the side. -
Grid & Content
This option still displays the content area, at the top of the page, but moves the navigation links below the content in a grid layout. -
Grid Only
This layout removes the content area from the page, leaving only the navigation links in a grid layout. If you have added content to the page, this will not be lost when you change the page layout, switching back to an option that includes content will display any previous information you had added. -
Content Only
This option centres the main content and removes an navigation links.
We recommend this option is only selected if there are no pages under this area as it would be difficult for your visitors to find their way around the site. -
Staff List
This option will output the Custom Staff Profiles on to this page.

Default
- If you choose one of the Grid Options, your navigation links will include an image, which you can personalise with a photo of your choice.
- To edit the image, click the edit icon in the corner of the grid block.

Click into the image area in the dialog to access the File Manager

Select an image from the File Manager to use. If the image or folder does not exist, you can create folders and upload files as needed to the File Manager.
- Next, you will be presented with the opportunity to crop the image to fit the grid area. Use the toolbar at the bottom left to rotate & zoom, or click the image to drag the image into the correct position. The preview on the right shows the resulting cropped version of the image. Once you are happy, click the crop button.
- Click save in the following dialog to complete the update.
Page & Grid Options
If you the options have been set up in this way, you should find a tool tip on your site called Page and Grid Options. This is usually found either at the bottom of the page or near the slideshow at the top of your site.

Custom Field Grid & Page options
You may have had bespoke functionality added to your site through the Custom Fields option. This will vary by site, depending on the choices you made when designing your website. You may be able to set Grid Navigation Options, or choose to make your page into a Custom Staff Page.
If your site includes this functionality, you will find it under the Page Edit toolbar, in Custom Fields.
Once you have selected the layout you require you will need to save the new settings.
